An expansion module for Crestron control systems to provide video signal sensing for four independent devices.
The ST-VS is a Cresnet® expansion module that is used to sense the presence of baseband video signals from up to four separated devices such as VCR's and DVD players. A typical application for video sensing is to provide confirmation of a device's power on/off state. This is often necessary to enable reliable power control for IR controlled devices that do not include discrete power commands in their IR control protocol. The ST-VS may be used to provide a video sensing interface wherever required, and may be rack-mounted using the optional ST-RMK rack mount kit (sold separately). Communication with the control system is via a single Cresnet connection.
